Bluetrek Carbon Headset
Looking for a lighter more comfortable headset for your cellphone?? Check out Bluetrek's latest version of Bluetooth 3.0 headset, "Carbon." It weighs only 5.9g and you would probably forget it's in your ear. Instead of a big mic this has a thin, carbon fiber mic a little bigger than a stirring straw you use for coffee. It has a clip so you can attach it to the mic and you can attach an ear hook to the earpiece to make it more stable. The USB port is less than 7mm wide and the diameter of the mic is 2-3mm. This headset has on average a 41/2 hour talk time and can connect with 2 cellphones. "Carbon" offers noise lock, wind, and echo cancellation so you can enjoy a conversation without the wind blowing in it and all the noise in the background.click here to view

Firefighter Technology
Researchers are trying to come up with a way to fight fires with a "blast of electric current." Come on now, if fires are started by electricity how in the world can you but a fire out with electric current. But oh well, they say that the did an experiment where the fire went out entirely. How? The researchers connected a 600 watt amplifier to some kind of wand that directs the electrical current into a beam, then created an foot high opening of flame and the wand was able to put the fire out entirely! Get real, if this come to light it will most definitely be an amazing technology. I don't see it happening but anything is possible. http://www.popsci.com
